This was a beautiful chair that we had in our hotel room today. It was the place that me and lil miss "A" were fighting to sit on. Thought of making it the picture of the day for today.

We got a chance to visit the Shiva & Vishnu Temple in Maryland on the auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri. The temple is beautiful with lots of such statues. This statue of 'Nandi' was something I could capture without shaking the camera on the super cold and super windy evening.

Was having a very very bad migrane. A good friend had suggested having this calming chamomile tea. I would not say that the headache was gone, but, it sure calmed my nerves and I could go about doing quite a few things around.

Something that has kept our hands, feet and cheeks from getting dried and cracked during this bad bad winter season. Love the citrus aroma. Bath & Body Works to the rescue always.

Well well - those green apples turned into a spicy, sweet and tangy pickle. In India we make something similar with green mango and its called 'Chunda'. Just replicated the recipe with green apples instead of green mangoes. No complains with the taste.

Well, this green apple along with 3 more of them have been sitting in my refrigerator since Christmad. Yup, hubby had got them to make a traditional stuffing. 4 of them just did not make it to the pot and were a part of the refrigerator. They still looked fresh without a single blemish. Not, just got to think of how to use them.

It was a very very cloudy and foggy day. The light from outside was just not enough. Hence made use of the overhead light fixture (daylight bulbs) to click this picture.

Clementines - they are the closest to the oranges back home (from India) - they peel easily and have no seeds. Well, they are lil miss "A's" newest best fruit snack.

It was late in the evening and hence used the overhead light (daylight bulbs) to click this picture.

Ginger Root is a favorite at our home - Used in the morning tea, used in curries and rice dishes. Love the way the root looks.

This was one of those huge ginger roots that I had picked up at the store during our midweek grocery shopping.
